Full Job Description
An independent firm of Chartered Accountants in the Southern Suburbs is seeking to employ a highly organized and efficient Bookkeeper.
Purpose of the job:
The primary task would be to provide the bookkeeping function for a portfolio of clients across a range of industries.
Key duties or responsibilities:
· Capture to Trial Balance
· Completion of Management Accounts
· Data Capturing, Processing of Bank Statements, Filing & General Administration
· VAT201 Returns Completion, Submission and Reconciliation
· ITR14 & ITR12TR Completion and Submission
Minimum requirements;
· A minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience within a similar position
· Experience working within an accounting firm would be advantageous
· Highly PC literate with strong excel skills
· Solid experience working on Pastel and Xero
· Experience working on Caseware Working Papers would be advantageous
· Good communication and interpersonal skills (written & verbal)

· Strong analytical skills;
· Ability to deal effectively with individuals at all levels;
· Ability to pay high attention to detail
· Strong administration skills
