Full Job Description
We are a Retail Company located in Port Shepstone that is seeking a Junior Bookkeeper/Creditors Assistant The successful candidate will render support to the Accounts Department.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric certificate
- Computer literate
- Bookkeeping/Accounting tertiary qualification
- Experience in Pastel accounting is essential
- Microsoft Office skills (Proficient in excel)
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organisational skills
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to effectively work in a team.
- 2 to 5 years prior experience
Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Data capturing and processing of documents
- Compiling monthly profit and loss reports
- Compiling quarterly reports
- Managing creditors and reconciliation
- Capturing invoices on Pastel
- Monthly bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance
- General administrative duties

- Port Shepstone, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Education:
- Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
- Pastel Accounting: 2 years (Preferred)
- Creditors: 2 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Excel: 2 years (Preferred)
