Our client in the Medical sector based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Practice Manager.

Requirements:
Great people skills.

Good organizational and administrative skills (with some HR experience if possible).

Capable of easily manage an office and overseeing the processes that keep it functioning efficiently.

Motivated to run a large practice where the challenges change daily.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:General Practice Administration:
Responsible for the day-to-day organization and smooth running of both practices.

Management of reception and patient interaction.

Management of all practice expenses, budgets, and bank accounts.

Ordering, purchasing, and insuring medical stock, equipment, and office consumables.

Implement and monitor effective workplace procedures.

Collect and deliver supplies to and from hospitals as required.

Phones, tablets, and practice cell phone management

Agendas and minutes of doctors and staff meetings.

Attend and respond to patient complaints.

Ensure POPIA and regulatory compliance.

HR Management:
Manage practice staff including the hiring, training, duty rosters, leave, discipline, etc.

Employment contracts and salaries.

Submission of annual workers compensation.

Submission of annual Employment Equity Report.

Personal Assistant to the Doctors:
Consolidate doctors’ Tax certificates and any other relevant documentation required for their personal Income Tax Returns.

Manage/attend to the annual renewals of the doctors MPS insurance, HPCSA and Practice numbers.

Register the doctors for the relevant conferences that they attend.

Renew vehicle licences and manage Doctors expenses.
