Distribution and Planning Co-ordinator at Status Staffing

Our long established manufacturing client in Blackheath is looking for an immediately available, bi-lingual (Eng / Afr) Distribution and Planning Co-ordinator to oversee and co-ordinate the distribution operations of a warehouse and to ensure products arrive at their destinations while adhering to SABS quality standards.

DUTIES:
Distribution:
Ensure distribution is planned according to order cycles

Ensure no orde cycle is missed

Update sales orders

Plan picking slips for items on back order

Control expenses

Production:
BOM maintenance

Ensure job cards are created correctly

Confirm / release job cards

Ensure old W.I.P. job cards are closed off

Ensure minimum stock levels are available at all times

Monitor W.I.P

Liaise with Customer Care Manager w.r.t. previous days’ production

Communicate job planning schedule with Customer Care Manager

Inter-branch transfers:
Co-ordinate with customers w.r.t. shipment forward planning

Liaise with Inventory Manager and Procurement Controller to control buffer stock

Update sales orders

Liaise with sales team regarding back orders

REQUIREMENTS:
Matric

Diploma / degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehousing

3 – 5 years’ distribution / planning / warehouse experience

Knowledge of freight regulations and procedures

Financial accounting experience

Numerical skills

Experience with MS Office, Syspro and Onebeat

Communication skills – English & Afrikaans

Valid driver’s license

HOURS:
08:00 – 16:30 (Mon – Thurs)

07:00 – 15:30 (Fri)
