Introduction

Our client in the automotive sector requires an Assistant Manager Finance & Adminreporting to the Chief Financial Officer to join their team in Durban

Description

Perform Finance & Administrative tasks within the Accounting Department of TCA.

Ensure compliance with all TCA policies and procedures and Toyota Group policies and procedures as applicable.

Proactive and “no surprises” behaviour.

ADMINISTRATION

Manage and organize travel arrangements, diary & internal / external functions.

Liaise and communicate with Stakeholders

Management of all general office administration / secretarial responsibilities, i.e., correspondence, typing, and filing, diaries, telephones etc.

Maintain and perform Budget Control, Purchase orders, SAP releasing etc.

Prepare presentations, Excel graphs, reports.

KPI’s

Ensure that assigned accounting tasks are performed to a high level of accuracy and completed within agreed time frames.

Reconcile and agree all assigned nominal ledger accounts to the general ledger control account held in SAP.

Reconcile and analyse all assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts in agreed formats for monthly review by TCA CFO, Internal Audit and external Audit.

Sales Invoicing

Posting of cashbook, debtors, and creditors transactions

Reconcile assigned bank statements daily and post required journals before close of business on the same day.

CATS administration and payment runs

Daily bank reconciliation

Education Profile

NQF Level 6 (360 credits on level 8 framework) Qualification in Accounting or Similar

5 Years relevant working experience with 3 years at group leader / supervisory role

Extensive SAP experience plus advanced computer skills (Excel /Word/PowerPoint)

Relevant experience for min 3 years

Working in a fast-paced, often stressful, environment
