Production Planner – Shatterprufe Struandale at PG Group (Pty) Ltd

A vacancy for a Production Planner has arisen at our Shatterprufe Struandale plant in Port Elizabeth. This is a Junior Manager position reporting to the Planning and Logistics Manager.

Responsible for production planning and scheduling to ensure the smooth flow of product throughout the Plant, taking bottlenecks and constraints into account and to ensure good planning, to maximise machine utilisation whilst maintaining target WIP levels for each station, ensuring customer requirements are met.

Qualification(s)

• Grade 12
• Diploma in Logistics / Industrial Engineering / Production Management

Experience

• 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment which would include some exposure to implementing supply chain, production or process improvement initiatives.
• 3 years’ experience in a planning role at Plant level within the automotive industry
• Working experience on the SAP/APO system

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R350,000.00 – R550,000.00 per year
