A well established international chemical raw material company supplying the manufacturing industry requires the above to assist the MD and sales team liaising with key accounts and ensuring that their clients are provided with the correct raw materials for their manufacturing processes.

Minimum requirements for the role:
A tertiary qualification is preferred but not essential for this role.

Previous experience having worked as an Internal Sales Administrator within the chemical manufacturing or distribution or related industries is preferred.

The successful candidate must be computer literate with basic Excel experience and ideally have experience working with SAP or a related ERP System.

Previous experience having worked on Pastel Evolution is preferred but not essential.

The successful candidate must have good people skills as they will be liaising with customers at all levels.

The successful candidate must be self motivated and be able to work independently or in a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Receiving and processing local and international orders on SAP ensuring customer delivery expectations are met.

Ensuring external key account managers are kept informed of any developments that are relevant to their customers.

Attending weekly divisional meetings.

Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries are dealt with timeously.

Visiting customers on occasion to build strong relationships with them and to understand their business.

Monitoring stock levels to meet customer’s needs, including reserved stock.

Assisting with quotations and monthly pricing.

Communicating with customers with regards to order status, stock availability pricing etc.

Liaising with transport companies on export orders internationally.

Processing invoices and compiling customer quotes.

Preparing invoices and forwarding to customers.

Liaising with the warehouse regarding delivery of raw materials to clients.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
