SALES & MARKETING EXECUTIVE – (SHIPPING)
DURBAN, KZN
This international shipping line seeks your sales experience in Ships Agency and Import & Export. You will report on target and tender accounts, i.e., volumes YTD. Rate negotiations for imports and exports for the various trade areas that the Company service and follow up on quotes.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
- Matric
- Shipping training courses advantage
- Sales and Marketing training courses ( advantageous)
- 5+ years extensive ships agency experience in all trades – essential
- 3+ years External sales in the Shipping industry
- Sound knowledge of import and export
- Valid SA driver’s license and own vehicle
- MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel
- Customer service training
- Knowledge of customers and market share
- Excellent interpersonal skills (written & verbal)
