A well-known chemical raw material company requires the above to manage large manufacturing key accounts within the personal care / pharma industries.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Tertiary qualification in chemistry or COSCHEM or related qual is advantageous.
- Previous key accounts / sales experience working within the personal care / pharma chemical raw material manufacturing or related industries is essential.
- The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
- Must have a good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential.
- Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing a multi-annual strategic plan concerning a key account and transforming it into an annual operation plan based upon the company strategy and customer expectations.
- Developing and implementing key account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are on target.
- Developing a transverse relationship with the customer and ensuring strategic alignment.
- Implementing the sales strategy, accomplishing market objectives and meeting targets.
- Establishing and achieving monthly and annual budgets, based on customer information and forecasts and preparing annual budgets for senior management.
- Identify new business opportunities by leveraging the full potential of the company’s product and services portfolio.
- Managing and delivering on technical queries with regards to specialised existing and new products.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
