Full Job Description
To conduct or assist with forensic regulatory investigations or preliminary investigations, within the financial services industry (financial markets, insurance, collective investment schemes, hedge funds, pension funds and financial and advisory services) and to take responsibility for the regulatory and enforcement action, following from such investigations or preliminary investigations. Persons appointed to these positions will report to the Senior Manager.
Key Performance Areas:
Create, or assist with, and execute clear, focused and efficient investigation plans;
Assess complaints and new cases for further action;
Draft or assist with a comprehensive investigation plan with reasonable timelines;
Conduct or assist with investigations – under some supervision (gathering all relevant, admissible evidence and proper analysis of the evidence);
Take responsibility or assist with the execution of all enforcement actions by the FSCA.
Other Key Competencies:
Candidates must demonstrate good communication and interviewing skills, good interpersonal skills, a confident and decisive approach particularly in difficult situations. Candidates must be able to draft investigation reports, with findings properly supported by cross-referenced evidence.

A Legal, Forensic, Accounting, or similar degree with at least one or two years of experience in a forensic investigations team.
