Financial Manager

Remote Work (Client visits when needed – 2-3 times per month)

Salary: Up to R40 000 per month, depending on experience + 13th Cheque

Candidate will need own internet.

Own Laptop will be highly beneficial.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 with flexi hours after 6 months of employment

Our client that operates within the accounting industry has an opportunity for a Financial Manager to join their firm on a remote base and would need to visit clients in Johannesburg area.

Minimum requirements:

• Accounting Degree

• Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles would be beneficial

• 2- 4 years’ experience:

o Experience with full financial function and dealing with Auditors

o Leadership skills with high integrity

o Xero experience would be beneficial

o Business acumen

• Ability to work independently.

• Take an innovative approach when necessary

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and reporting skills

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor the day-to-day financial operations/ bookkeeping within the company

• Responsible for full finance function – Creditors, Cashbook, Debtors, Financial accounting to trial balance, Supplier recons, bank recons, project recons, VAT recons

• Loading suppliers payments for release

• Working closely with the procurement team

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements

• Tax Regulations & VAT submissions

• Optimisation of cash flow

• Budgeting and forecasting

• Ad hoc as per management discretion

• General Ledger (GL) Management

• Financial Reporting – including monthly management pack and adhoc reporting as required
