An established Chartered Accounting firm in Malmesbury is looking for a qualified Audit Manager
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report directly to directors
- Planning, execution and marking of audit, independent review, agreed procedure – and compilation work, including tax calculations
- Training of junior audit clerks
- Administration related to audit and other services
- Direct contact with customers
- Monitor budgets and meeting deadlines
- Keep up to date with the latest technical standards and ensure that all work is done in line with them
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- GR(SA) qualification
- Knowledge of CaseWare and MSOffice programs
- Own Transport, valid driving license and willingness to travel
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Good technical skills (familiar with IFRS for SMEs, ISAs and Companies Act)
- Experience in compilations, independent reviews and audits
- Strong project management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, conscientious and well organized
- Function well under pressure and work accurately
