Our client in the Direct Response / Retail industry based in Sandton is currently looking to employ a Senior Art Designer.
The main core of the job is creating artwork from die-lines for products.

Requirements:
Must have worked with Die-Lines (minimum 2 years).
Must have Retail Artwork design (minimum 2 years).
Experience on Retail Point of Sale (including online Banners).
2-5 years of working experience as a Graphic Designer.
2-5 years’ experience with Retail design (Retail Artwork).
2-5 years’ experience with Artwork, Packaging, Colour-retouching from start to finish.
Must have experience with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (ideally the whole Adobe suite).
Must have experience with Illustrator and Photoshop (ideally the whole Adobe suite).
Knowledge of design techniques, creating lifestyles and working with die-lines.
Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience.
2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Must Have Matric.
Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design aesthetic.
Must have strong Grammer skills.

Time management and multitasking abilities – Key Attribute.
A talent for creating from concept and problem-solving.
Must be able to Plan concept and illustrates concept by designing through layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
Use feedback from management to improve and alter designs.
Understanding of visual elements (layout, type, fonts, colour modes.)
Adhere to project deadlines, build mock-ups, and can work with vinyl.
Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
Must have strong Grammer skills – Key Attribute.
Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
Have an active interest in art/design and passionate about the work you deliver.
