Financial Reporting Manager at New Beginnings Recruitment

The services of a meticulous, detail-oriented Finance Professional are required to support the Head of Finance in the reporting, administration of financial, cash and risk management, and implementation of financial procedures to improve/maintain the financial health of the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Produce enhanced standard financial management accounts.
• This includes a monthly budget for actual reports with variance analysis and other required standard reports.
• Produce the monthly and quarterly exco and board packs and other financial presentations for review by the Head of Finance.
• Provide support to the CFO and Head of Finance during the annual audit and coordinate in the preparation of the required financial reports.
• Perform analysis of operational activities, including historical, current, and projected expense, cash flow, variances, and key financial data, including indirect cost.
• Perform scenario and financial modelling, and sensitivity analysis to be used to inform strategic decisions and project the financial impact of a policy or other changes (e.g., NICRA).
• Improving and implementing: Financial Management, People Management, Compliance, Training Needs Analysis, People Management, Fixed Asset Management, Cashflow management.
• Manage the fixed asset register process and ensure standard operating procedures are applied.

Requirements

• B. Compt / BCom.
• ACCA, CIMA, BCom Hons with articles, or CA(SA), desirable.
• At least 6 years’ experience in a financial management role.
• Strong background in financial reporting
• Solid Fixed Asset experience in a multi-project/location environment
• Solid staff managerial and supervisory experience working in cross functional teams.
• Solid knowledge of financial accounting policies and procedures
• Understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards.
• Enterprise resource planning /systems experience

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R60,000.00 – R100,000.00 per month
