Implement cost accounting procedures and methods to account for costing of products

Accurate financial reporting

Ensure controls are at optimal function to mitigate risks

Annual Budget preparation

Annual asset verification

Ensure accurate accounting of manufacturing products

Balance intercompany loan accounts

Capture inventory counts on financial system

Evaluate proposed capital projects and complete capex request

Reporting on expenses and inefficiencies

Assist with audits both internal and external

Prepare and capture month-end journals and meet month-end journals

Prepare balance sheet recons

Support Financial Manager and site manager

Authorise creditors for payments

Monthly reporting on expenses

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5 or more years relevant work experience

Manufacturing/ FMCG experience

Understanding of ability to perform costing function

Qualification:
Minimum of a Bcom Finance qualification

Completed SAICA/ SAIPA articles highly beneficial
