Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Mzansi Exploration Drilling (PTY) Ltd

Drilling contractor company based near Hammanskraal, Pretoria holds a vacancy for an office based Accountant.

Duties and Requirements as follow:

Gathering of client / supplier information

Preparing working paper files for compilation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SME’s

Perform monthly accounting work and drafting of management financial statements

Perform monthly payrolls

Calculating and submissions of client’s statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, COID, ITR12, ITR 14, etc.)

Correspondence with and resolving of SARS queries

Ad-hoc audit participation

Preparing of tender documentation

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting or Accounting

Completed SAIPA/SAICA articles with experience in duties listed above

Computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Sage, Pastel, Xero, and Caseware)

Excellent time management skills

Experience in tax calculations of individuals and SME entities

Quality and detail-orientated

A person that is able to work under pressure

Experience and good working knowledge of IFRS for SME’s, VAT Act, and Income Tax Act

Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English)

Drivers license and own vehicle

Experience in the drilling / mining industry or tender platforms is an advantage.
