Minimum Requirements
Registered CA(SA)
1-3 years post articles experience
High stress threshold, effective interpersonal skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize duties
Team management skills
Effective communication
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Duties and Responsibilities
Main Purpose of Position:
The primary focus will be to assist the department managers in managing the client portfolios, oversee the development of SAICA trainee accountants and to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Department.
Position Overview:
Management of audits and related services.
Delivery of quality work through maintaining audit and accounting standards.
Compliance with statutory obligations
Management and development of audit staff
Experience required:
Preparation of IFRS and IFRS for SME’s annual financial statements
Knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft Office and Caseware.
Managing multiple assignments simultaneously (2 – 3)
Demonstrated an active role in reviewing juniors’ work and providing on-the-job training.
Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:
Exposure to medium and large private equity companies
Experience auditing group companies
Preparation and review of consolidated financial statements
