The day to day

Prepare, review, and revise commercial-related documents (T&Cs, DPA, etc.)

Collaborate closely with both Sales and Operations teams and participate as support in meetings (video and face-to-face) to ensure long-term trusted relationship with existing and new clients, consultants, and partners

Prepare training modules and guidance memos on a range of legal topics

Participate in the review and improvement of our legal documents (global commercial clauses and employment-related templates), including, reviewing policies to ensure compliance with applicable local laws (employment type, severance, handbook, wages, working hours, workplace safety, discipline, tracking potential and existing employment-related claims)

Conduct researches and oversight local changes in applicable laws and regulations, foresee any potential risk, and communicate and implement relevant legal documents accordingly

What is expected

Strong decision-making and organizational skills, with great attention to details and discipline, and with ability to provide expertise and practical advice

Proactive counseling with anticipation to quickly adapt approach to manage risks and mitigate issues before they arise

Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, with ability to resolve issues using communication skills and legal expertise

Requirements

Strong academic background, with a Bachelor degree or higher in Law, with specialization in Labor Law, Contracts Law, Private Law, or Law applied to HR

Experience in a similar role, in a fast-growth environment, with deep knowledge and understanding of all types of employment matters, and labor-relationships in general

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once

Time management and organization in order to meet strict deadlines

Ability to analyze problems and come up with a solution

Any personal experience abroad or living in multi countries would be a great plus

Language requirements: fluent in English with excellent writing skills, Chinese would be a plus
