A well-known chemical raw material company requires the above to manage large manufacturing key accounts within the personal care / pharma industries.
Minimum requirements for the role:
Tertiary qualification in chemistry or COSCHEM or related qual is advantageous.
Previous key accounts / sales experience working within the personal care / pharma chemical raw material manufacturing or related industries is essential.
The successful candidate must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships.
Must have a good business acumen with good analytical and synthesis skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills is essential.
Computer literacy is essential with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing a multi-annual strategic plan concerning a key account and transforming it into an annual operation plan based upon the company strategy and customer expectations.
Developing and implementing key account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are on target.
Developing a transverse relationship with the customer and ensuring strategic alignment.
Implementing the sales strategy, accomplishing market objectives and meeting targets.
Establishing and achieving monthly and annual budgets, based on customer information and forecasts and preparing annual budgets for senior management.
Identify new business opportunities by leveraging the full potential of the company’s product and services portfolio.
Managing and delivering on technical queries with regards to specialised existing and new products.
Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
